Friday Flyover

As we head toward the finish of spring sports at the complex, some finishing touches are being taken care of on the baseball and softball fields in preparation for their games starting. Dugout and pressbox work continues at both fields, with the dugouts now protected by fencing. Interior paint, lights, and benches were also completed this week. One other exciting piece is both scoreboards now have power to them and are operational. Power was also established to the stadium scoreboard. This does not include data for the use of the video board yet but progress nonetheless. Systems were also hooked up on all three fields to play light shows with the new lights. More on this to come...
Some concrete is being added today for baseball spectators. This should be ready for baseball's home opener Tuesday night. We continue to see grass getting established around the site. Please make sure to keep kids out of areas that are still wet so the new grass can continue to get thicker. As a reminder to all, during soccer games, the baseball and softball fields are closed and should not be used by kids as play areas. Also, we ask that anyone inside the complex follows our no seeds/no gum policy. We are seeing sunflower seeds on the turf of all three fields at times. This is a huge problem to clean and takes a lot of time. Thank you for your attention to this.

There are some busy night's coming up at the Complex - get over and check it out starting tonight with girls and boys soccer senior night!
